Construction design
The design of a pig farm encompasses three major aspects: architectural design, structural design, and water/electrical facilities design. Piggery building design

In the context of pig farm construction, construction design refers to the way designers organize and document all the planning and coordination work involved in the pig farm project before its construction begins. This allows the entire project to proceed smoothly and in a coordinated manner according to a well-considered pre-determined plan, while staying within the specified investment budget.

Piggery building structure design

The structural design construction drawing is the "language" of structural engineers, which is directly targeted at construction sites and relevant engineering and technical personnel, and shall be drawn in accordance with specific specifications. The structural design of pig farm buildings includes superstructure design and foundation design.

The superstructure design is categorized into frame structure, shear wall structure, frame-shear wall structure, frame-core tube structure, tube-in-tube structure, and masonry structure.

Foundation design includes the following aspects:

1. Determine the foundation form and material strength grade based on the engineering site investigation report, superstructure type, load effect of the superstructure, local construction technology level, and material supply situation. Common types include shallow foundations (such as independent foundations, strip foundations) and deep foundations (such as pile foundations);

2. Determination of the foundation base area and verification of foundation bearing capacity;

3. Calculation of foundation internal forces and reinforcement detailing;

4. Consideration of necessary structural measures.

Design of water, electricity and heating

Water, electricity and heating are essential resources for the normal production of pig farms. The design of water, electricity and heating systems for pig farms refers to calculating the future demand of the pig farm based on its scale, investigating the water and electricity resource conditions around the farm, ensuring sufficient water supply and stable electricity supply to meet the needs of personnel's drinking, production and living water use, and adjusting the matching of water and electricity supply and demand. On this basis, it also involves the overall planning of the entire pig farm and the design of water and electrical pipelines, while comprehensively considering building heating and the heating system for pig house environmental control, so as to ensure the normal and safe operation of the pig farm's water, electricity and heating systems.
